 We call him: "little guy", "little man", "Mr. Poopie Pants", "cuddle bug", Nathanael & Nathan.

 We did finally get his name officially spelled correctly on his birth certificate...by his first birthday...not too shabby, right?

Some things about N at 12 months:
-very social bug
-watches EVERYTHING with his big, inquisitive eyes
-follows his big brother ANYWHERE (yikes!)
-loves to be held/cuddled
-not too interested in swimming pools
-very interested in eating (almost anything, almost always)
-wearing 12 mo. clothes, though some are too big
-not interested in wearing shoes
-very interested in putting everything in his mouth
-dances to music (and when he's eating something he likes)
-crinkles his nose when he smiles now
-has super long lashes
-has eyes that are much darker than big brothers...turning green, it seems?
-doesn't have much hair
-can crawl, pull up to standing, and reach for anything like a pro
-loves to empty the dishwasher & drawer under the oven
-enjoys a nice walk in the stroller
-laughs and squeals when in a swing
-sleeps with a pacifier
-still gets some bedtime Mama's milk
-prefers to self-feed (no matter how messy he gets!)
-will not be happy if he sees someone else eating--better give him something or HIDE!
-can climb the stairs (yikes!)
-likes to crawl around outside in the grass
-isn't bothered by the noises, bumps, and jolts caused by his big brother
-loves a good game of peek-a-boo
-has four teeth (two on bottom, two on top)
-sleeps great (at least 12 hrs/night, often more + 2 naps during the day)
-relaxes to a good book
-has a repertoire of lots of great sounds, no words yet
-charms everyone he meets

What an adventure we've enjoyed over the last year with our little peanut!

We love this guy...his personality is starting to show more & more. He is easy-going, fun, and can turn any frustrating moment into a smiling one...just by giving his signature crinkle-nose smile!
