J turned 3 this month, can you believe it?
J had been requesting "blue" and "stars" for his cake for weeks.
He helped with the cupcake prep, taste-tested the frosting,
and had the very first finished cupcake the morning of his birthday.
He received a few birthday cards from thoughtful friends & family,
and a number of phone calls with happy birthday songs and "how old are you now?" questions.
He had great practice showing how old he is with those darling little fingers!
Lots of blue frosting.
Even more sprinkles.
A variety of colors & shapes...just how we like it.
He can now tell you how to spell his name "J-A-C-K-S-O-N"!
Can you find the letters on his birthday cupcakes?
When Daddy got home we had an official party--
Complete with a birthday balloon, surprise gifts,
lit candles, songs, and dancing!
J was pretty serious about the candles.
He was so excited & deliberately blew out each candle separately.
Which is *so* his personality.

Are there any of those yummy looking cupcakes left????
It always seems like such a HUGE jump from toddler to preschooler.. there should be something in the middle!
