On a perfectly cool & windy Saturday, we met up with my Aunt Debra and Uncle Don in Chicago!
They were in town, along with Sarah K, to enjoy a (too short!) visit with my cousin Ryan who just finished Navy boot camp not far from the Windy City. We are so proud of Ryan and his hard work! Thankfully we were able to coordinate schedules in order to meet up with them in the city.
We were so excited to spend the day with them...J especially enjoyed all of the extra attention:
Here, Uncle Don (one of J's all time favorites, hands down) plays a fun game of...let the stroller roll down the hill...J had a blast!
We ate a delicious Chicago-style fancy pizza lunch and then enjoyed a nice (longer than we expected) walk along the Riverwalk & along Lake Michigan. The weather was perfect and it was so nice to walk around and catch up.
It was so fun to get to know Ryan's girl, Sarah K, as well! She was so kind and awesome with the boys--she held Baby N for at least 2 miles of our walk!
It was wonderful to enjoy the parks downtown--we just love this city!
Of course, we stopped by 'The Bean' (and saw about 7 different wedding parties getting photos taken around that part of the park) in Millenium Park.
We had a blast walking, talking, eating, & sharing our updates with them.
Thank you: Debra, Don, & Sarah--for such a fun Chicago day!

I can't see the pics, either! And I would really really like to!!
