Well, hello there.

Anyone in here??

Oh my goodness. I never thought I'd ignore my blog(s) for such a long stretch...but alas, I have (darn you, easiness of instagram and fb posting!) and here we are.

It's midnight and I got a wild hair to add a photo of our family as a first step to recovery from blog absence.

AND SO--that's the latest family photo. Trevor, Mr. N , Mama, Miss A , Miss N & Mr J. 

As a review--we hail from the warm South but currently live in the great white North and we are crazy, hilarious, messy, loud. We are currently trying various experiments to invent a way to make the fall last as long as possible before winter.

Mr. H is a traveling safety consultant (oh yes, he travels), home improvement specialist, spray paint genius, house ship-shaper, yard manicurist, & dedicated tickle monster. Also? He has been sitting on the stand at Church every Sunday for the last year so he can gaze upon his beautiful family on the 2nd row.

Mama is a birth doula (on a break from doula-ing), certified lactation educator counselor (breastfeeding questions? let's talk!), trained childbirth educator (certification comes next!) , homeschool professor (yup--we are that family), 4th Sunday teacher (best church responsibility EVER) , hobbyist photographer (yeah, I get paid sometimes too), and joy-seeker (for reals).

Mr J (7) is studier of all things space, dinosaur, & ferrets (also working on a karate belt, writing a book, and becoming more amazing every day).

Mr. N (5) is a collector of all things tiny, and a seeker of letters (as in mail...and also the alphabet). He is a charmer and a mischief maker all in one ball of fabulousness.

Miss N (3.75) is a professional stylist (she changes complete outfits at least 5x/day), self proclaimed ballerina-princess-fairy, and is working daily on her cartwheelin' skills.

Miss A (5 mo) is the littlest bee and brightest light of the family--giggler, googler, slobberer, squealer, and roller extraordinaire...she is about to take off in crawling any.day.now (what!?) and woos us with her secret baby magic.
