Merry Christmas!

Today, we are taking our time...maximizing all of our Christmas cheer and letting the energy flow as it comes (and time outs as needed). J is feeling better with his medicine (went to the Urgency Room on Sunday for pneumonia), Miss N has a bit of a runny nose, but we are feeling GREAT today!

We are enjoying a WHITE Christmas up here in Minnesota (4 inches last night!), and Trevor spent the morning shoveling the snow (snow blower decided to take a vacation today) and delivering our neighbor gifts. We cheered him on in our pajamas from inside by the fireplace :)

{The first of the snow removal this morning//before the snowblower bowed out}

There is something absolutely fabulous about Christmas with children. Their excitement and joy is what the magic of Christmas is made of--and their anticipation and happy squeals bring back memories of Christmases past.

This week we are relishing our time together, our little family. We are building new memories, creating new traditions, and carrying on ones of yesteryear. This is Christmas, and we are holding on tight.

Our tree is glistening, there are presents played with, and more to open--it's naptime now so all is quiet in our Christmas casa.

We miss our family who are so far away...Washington, Massachusetts, Kentucky, & Tennessee. We skyped and called some of our family this morning and it was wonderful to share Christmas songs and happy voices. We will have more to connect with this evening--because isn't that what this is all about? Connecting, sharing, and family.

We wish you a very Merry Christmas
 full of festive gatherings,
moments of magic,
and sweet remembrances of Christ,
the babe born in Bethlehem.

What fun pictures! It looks like it was a magical Christmas at your house. Your kids are so lucky to have you for a mama!
