J: 44 months

J is our little man

3 1/2 years old...44 months

This kid.

He is hilarious!

J loves:

-to make people laugh (Often asks "was that funny?" after he does/says something silly)

-to get his baby sister to smile ("Look, Mama! She smiled at me!!")

-to be the star of the show ("E'erbody...look at MEEEEE!")

-to dance to fast music, run through the house, slide down the stairs

-to do puzzles, color mazes, glue, paint, stickers, cutting crafts, etc

-to help make bread, cookies, and pizzas

-to "read" books to his younger brother, and be read to by Mama/Daddy

-to count (into the 20's), sing Primary songs, and identify letters on signs when we are driving in the car

-to jump on his "jumping thing" (it looks like an air-blow-up swimming pool, but it's to jump in)

-to play in the snow

-to be chased by "the monster" (Daddy)

-to skype with grandparents, aunts, uncles, & cousins

-to go to his Sunbeam class (especially if there are snacks)

-to learn in is Preschool class (this week: the letter E, lighthouse theme, the shape octagon, and the number 5)

We talk frequently about 

"making good choices"

"choosing the right"

& "being obedient"

J is an awesome helper:

-collects the trash from all of the upstairs rooms & dumps them into the large kitchen trash can
-brings diapers/wipes to whichever baby that Mama/Daddy is changing
-takes diapers & drops down diaper chute
-clears the table
-sets the table
-helps with emptying the dishwasher
-helps with vacuuming
-puts away toys/books
-goes with us to get the mail
-takes off his shoes when he comes inside & puts them in the shoe basket
-gets dressed (mostly) without help (still working on the shirts)
-brushes his teeth by himself
-gets in his car seat by himself & buckles his seatbelt
-pushes strollers
-helps with the dusting/windex cleaning

J is a charmer...

his laugh is contagious

his smile will melt your heart

and his "I love you"s are the sweetest

J is curious, smart, busy, loud, 

inquisitive, funny, determined, meticulous,

organized, clean, strong, brave,

helpful, energetic, stubborn,

& full of personality.

What does a penguin say: "ort ort!" (he often pretends to be a 'baby penguin' and runs around the house saying ORT ORT!)

Favorite book: "Monkey"(a picture book with opposites)

Favorite scripture story: "Nephi"
What did Nephi do: "plates"
Favorite place to go on an adventure: "Star one. When it's dark."

Favorite song/music: "Twinkle twinkle little light" (lighthouse version of twinkle star we did @ preschool this week)

We love our J!
