Before we left for the park,
(while I was nursing the babe)
I found J's idea of "Yes you may have some craisins"
Stacked in a nice little mountain of sweetness on his little kitchen table:
I said "We'll clean it up when we get home, let's go."
We went to the park--met our friends there with our picnic lunches and enjoyed some sunshine inspired chatter (also sneaking in some visiting teaching while we were at it...).
J had a blast climbing up to the tallest spots at the playground,
swinging, and sliding on the smallest slides.
I think it was our first real park adventure with friends since it started warming up--
let Springtime BEGIN!

On our way home, I picked up an order of foot cream and face lotion that I had made during my friend's recent party. I was chatting away on my phone, when I noticed a very nice minty scent in the air...almost eucalyptus...very refreshing.
My windows were down & the farmers were out plowing their fields today so I thought "that's strange...I don't remember plowed dirt smelling like that before...
maybe it's something in the soil here, how nice!"
Before long I came to my senses, flipped down my rear-view mirror and saw my sweet J squeezing out my brand new bottle of refreshing foot cream into a little baking tin resting precariously on his lap.
I immediately got off my phone call & pulled over at examine the damage:

"We'll clean it up when we get home, let's go."
And now my car smells like a spa...
anyone wanna ride?

*Update: As J was recounting the experience to Daddy, he said "ice cream didn't taste good". Apparently, he thought the tube of soothing foot cream was ICE cream. This is probably because my friend who gave me the white bag of spa goodies was eating an ice cream cone as she gave it to me. Clearly, there would be ice cream in the bag, right?

That must've been a huge disappointment for him - worst ice cream ever ;)
