I just realized that J will turn 3 in two months.
What!?
04.16.2011 This is what he does when I say "look at me with your eyes"
So J is almost 3...which is just wild.
He is growing too fast, I tell ya!
His 2T tops are shrinking by the day and his 2T pants are somehow doing the same thing. I don't know how these things happen, but I do know that almost-three is lots of fun, with LOTS of extra excitement.
-cartoon themed underwear
-crawling in bed with Mama & Daddy on Sunday mornings(since he can crawl out of his crib, open the door even with the child knob, and bounce happily into our room)
-interested in all things tractor, public transit, and animals (unless, of course, they are too loud & turn into "skewee" things)
-loving going to the park with friends
-helping out with baby brother (and sometimes sitting on him)
-interest in all things Mom & Dad do (folding laundry, dusting, vacuuming, talking on the phone, driving, typing on the computer...)
-new obsession with brushing teeth
-awesome potty training skills
-love of all things involving scissors, crayons, and/or stickers
-insists on "watching Mama" when working on projects (& helping out, of course)
He gets attention everywhere we go (still), but now he adds phrases to the mix, like:
"So, how's it goin'?"
or
"Hi there!"
&
"My name Jackson. His name Mama. That is Naythdem"
("his" vs "her"...we're working on it)
He loves to go:
-"to friends house"
-"to Target"
-"to the post office"
-"to Church"
&
-"on adventures"
04.16.2011 J is an awesome big brother
Every day is an adventure with the energy that J adds to our family. He is happy, helpful, and creative. He keeps us on our toes (sometimes, literally...hello Thomas The Train in the middle of the kitchen floor!) and helps us to increase our patience quotient. He loves to laugh, jump, and "fly" in the air (Daddy throws him up into the air when he gets home from work). His straight forward understanding of life and the important things is inspiring.
WE love our J!

Yes I find it funny when you call me and J says ' I want to talk to HIM!'
So much to learn, but he is doing it! Thanks for putting on the bunny ears! They are so cute!
Andrew's still talking about how much fun he had with his "friend" J! So cute :)
He is just so sweet. I bet you guys are having a lot of fun with him...and have your hands full too! :)
Wow, that seems weird b/c Spencer turned 3 right after we moved to TN after graduation. I guess they ARE only 1.5 yrs apart. Doesn't seem like it yet!
