Baby N is 7 months in.
Or 7 months out.
However you look at it...he is 7 months old!
I took a few photos of him in these Japanese outfits*...
...before he grows out of them, and because the Japanese people have been on my mind all week. These outfits were given to us by my friend Tomo who lives near Tokyo. Our prayers reach out to them and everyone there who is suffering loss and finding their way through this tragedy.
We are sitting right on top of his 7 month mark.
For Baby N, this means:
-crawling slowly (up on hands & knees) but willing to work to get what he wants!
-sitting up a bit longer than before (still falling over)
-loving his soothie pacifier
-not enjoying the swing as much
-completely interested in big brother J's toys
-grabbing at anything within reach, pulling from one hand to the other & toward his mouth
-loving bright colors
-interested in book reading time
-enjoying songs (mostly what he hears is what J & I sing)
-discovering new areas of the house with his new mobility
-still nursing 100%
-sleeping through the night (plus some. we're talking some serious sleeping in)
-still no teeth
-recognizing voices & faces of Mama, Daddy, & J
-loves to be tickled
-big smiles & laughs
-baby babble: "da-da-da" & "ya-ya-ya"
-likes to be held. OFTEN.
-is carried around in the ergo. OFTEN.
-enjoying cuddle time
weight: 18 lbs
height: "a little on the short side" -Dr. S
size: 6-9 mo. clothes (pants too long)
We just can't get enough of this little man.
His baby babble and silly smiles keep us entertained (not that we lack entertainment around here, just check out what big brother is up to in the next post!). He is always looking around and keeping his eyes on J, interested in every move he makes. It is fascinating to notice the differences in EVERYthing for the 2nd child.

How cute is that picture with his mouth wide open! It reminds me a lot of J.
Both your boys are adorable,especially J's red hair and blue eyes that seem to suit him so well, but baby N is SO precious!!! And that shot of his legs with rolls upon rolls- ADORABLE!!! I LOVE the chubs!
What a cuddly looking baby! He is so very cute! I love the one with his mouth open!
