SIX down...

(Trevor & I out for a dessert date, about 2 weeks ago)

Today is our anniversary.
Thankfully it is not as hot today as it was the day we were married
aka the hottest day of 2004.

Last year I orchestrated a fun scavenger hunt for Trevor
with the help of my parents who were in town for a visit.

This year I orchestrated a new grill for Trevor to come home to
(he's been out of town all week)
with the help of his parents who are here helping with the boys.
(Did I just say "the boys?" wow. )

And tonight we just might go out on a date...
sushi has been calling my name for the past...oh...9 months or so!

I feel blessed beyond words to have such an amazing husband
who kissed me this morning after changing little diapers
and scrubbed the toilets in between his work phone calls this afternoon.

Our marriage isn't perfect.
We've had challenges that have come our way
and challenges that we've caused ourselves--
but we keep marching forward
holding hands and catching each other when we fall.

And isn't that what it is all about?

The holding, catching, and marching all along the amazing journey we call life.
