Last Summer Day in WI

We signed up for swimming lessons ("Mommy & Me" lessons) several months ago, assuming that our future move wouldn't be until later this year. Of course--those plans were foiled. Thankfully, we were able to go to two of the lessons & enjoyed the splashing fun with some of our favorite friends.

This was the last day before we left--we were swimming while the movers loaded the truck. Here J walks with his two BFFs, Ela & Abbey.

They had so much fun together over the past year--picnics, park days, mall meet ups, home hang outs--all while their mama & I became dear friends as well.

We are missing all of our Wisconsin buddies these days...you can make new friends but you never can replace the ones already in your heart!
