Not shown: two chairs that will remain safely in their boxes until we have a bigger place.
Also not shown: J's chair with booster seat that sits at the 'head' of the table
Our "not-so-real kitchen tables" have, with grateful hearts, included this one in our Possum Trot home (now used as a computer desk in Trevor's parent's home) , and this one in our Murray home (back to it's original purpose: a patio table!).
The new table is beautiful, and I love the benches. I really dig benches. Have to admit I almost got teary-eyed, though, seeing the patio table demoted. SO many awesome meals shared on that table. SO many times I, in my challenged sight, accidentally slammed my glass of water too hard onto the glass tabletop . . . :) You always had everything looking so beautifully, and you always made me feel like you were so happy I was there.
Welcome to our family blog! We are convinced that the sweetest things in life can be found in the smallest moments. Sometimes these sweet things get captured in words or photos & we share them here. We're glad you stopped by...be sure to check out Shara's blog while you're at it!

Yes, I miss you.
Love,

James sits at the head of our table too. We all know who runs the show.
