January days...inside!

Couch cuddles w/Mama 01.2013

Some wintry days...we stay inside & only go out when we      absolutely HAVE to.                                
This has been the case for many days this month so far, especially as we've been passing around a few different cold viruses. 




On days/weeks like this...we only have to go outside to: get our mail (across the street!), take out our trash (Monday nights!), go to Church (Sundays), and do minimal shopping (Target/Costco).

Reading books w/Daddy 01.2013

Inside we have lots of things to do! We like to cuddle on the couches, build forts, stack blocks, put together puzzles, sing songs, make up new words, learn sign language, read books together, discover new dinosaurs, bake cookies, clean dishes, and sometimes...bang on metal bowls:

 When we're not drumming or humming or napping or tapping...you might just find some little artists in my kitchen...

...and sometimes we aren't ready for all that fun quite yet.

The boys have been especially enjoying drawing and practicing letters with their white boards and also white tiles. They love the bold colors of them markers. Miss N can't wait to play with markers too.

At the end of the day...we are grateful for our warm home, tissues to dry our noses, and the chance to play inside together...in our pajamas.
