N: 16 months

Our 'baby N' is 16 months old!

N wearing a festive outfit that Uncle Ben wore when he was a toddler.

He's curious, non-stop movement, and jolly to be around.

He's also learned a few things from big brother J:

Like taking a bunny from a baby...

N is full of surprises these days...

-new teeth
-new foods he refuses (only if something he dubs "better" is in his viewing area)
-new facial expressions (grumpy eyebrows)
-new words/sounds 
         aoway-oway-oway
         ho ho (Santa)
         aah aah aah (monkey)
         dzeeewwww (food. now. please)
         Hiiiiiiiiii (hi!)
-new signs
         up
         down
         bite
-new expressions of love (hugs! kisses!)

...and keeps us on our toes

 (keep the bathroom door shut! keep the office door shut!)

as he enjoys the NEW freedoms of walking (almost running?)

with that adorable toddler swagger.

N follows his brother EVERYWHERE

and thinks he's the best.

Even when he gets knocked down.

He knows how to take it...that's how the 2nd child rolls.

And with the arrival of his little sister, N is even more curious.

He says hi to her, gives hugs & kisses, 

and *tries* to give "GENTLE" touches. 

So far, so good.

He is transitioning from the baby to big brother,

and doing a great job!
