Minnesota is an outdoorsman's playground.
In the summer there are trails, lakes, rivers, streams, parks galore, and events in every suburb & city that pulls you outside to enjoy the SUNshine. We have been enjoying our new yard and the parks around the city--especially while we make new friends at our weekly playgroup!
In the winter (shudder) there are plenty of things to do for the winter-sports lover...skiing, snowshoeing, snowboarding, snow fishing, snow sculpting, snow shoveling...hahaha.
We are actually going to have a company to do most of our snow shoveling, since the man of the house is on the road so much and ... well... you know what I'll be doing all winter long, don't you?
Staying bundled inside with 3 kids, 3 and under.
Come visit me, Please. :)
Back to summer.
Minnesota is BEAUTIFUL. There are so many places to get out and enjoy nature's beauty...I think I've said before that our suburb city alone has over 50 parks...!! One of them just happens to be just down the sidewalk path from our new home! (YAY!)
We love to go on walks (now that the temperatures have calmed down after the massive heat wave). Usually we go with the jogging stroller, sometimes J rides his tricycle, but last week we tried out our brand new (to us) Radio Flyer Wagon:

We'll try it again soon.
**Special thanks to new friends the S family who gave us the wagon!**

Your boys are SO stinkin' adorable! Aaaah I could eat up baby N's face in those pictures! We have had many an outing to the park, on a walk, etc. that have ended abruptly due to bad behavior. "Crab-itude" as their preschool teacher calls it. ;-)
I think that hiring out the snow shoveling this season is a wise idea. A mother with a newborn and two toddlers does not need to be responsible for snow removal, too. Especially all the snow you're bound to get over there in MN.
On this 90 degree summer day, the mental image of snow is actually quite inviting!!
We have this wagon and we adore it. Those new friends are keepers. :) Cute photos.
Beautiful blog!! Love it! So happy to have you guys in Eagan.
