This morning during breakfast,
I said to J: "Today is Easter! Happy Easter!"
He quickly replied: "Happy Easter...from Jesus!"

Due to colds & cold weather we missed out on the super fun Easter egg hunt our dear friend hosted (which awesomely included a lesson about Christ & the real reason to celebrate this weekend). We have talked a lot about Jesus and resurrection this week...I am not sure what all J understands at this point, but I am glad that he is associating EASTER with JESUS.
That is where it's at.
We hope you & yours are enjoying
beautiful family & worship time today...
celebrating & honoring
HE WHO DIED
and who LIVES AGAIN.
The knowledge of this truth gives us the best kind
of hope & joy that this world can know.
Blessings.
Happy Easter.
“In all the history of the world there have been many great and wise souls, many of whom claimed special knowledge of God. But when the Savior rose from the tomb, He did something no one had ever done. He did something no one else could do. He broke the bonds of death,
not only for Himself but for all who have ever lived—
the just and the unjust (see John 5:28–29).”

cute pictures of the boys, Shara! And pretty Easter table, too!
When you were maybe 5 years old we went to Granny's for Easter and you proceeded to tell her about the Easter story...you did a fabulous job including many details....I can see you are going to have boys who know the real story of Easter!
