Family: Isn't it about time?

Me & My Mama

Even though it was a whirlwind weekend,
we were able to spend lots of quality time with our families!

Friday night we had a cook-in (there was a burn ban so no bonfire for us) & a hayride. Saturday we hopped from one house to the next visiting family (all of Trevor's family is in the same area of Western KY, so visiting everyone in one weekend is busy, but quite possible!), Saturday night we did the Halloween thing at Church (and my family came up from TN) & then hot chocolate at a family's house. Sunday was the baby blessing and visit time and Monday we stopped by saying goodbyes on our way
back up to our Northern Illinois home.

We feel so blessed to have such great parents, grand-parents, brothers, sisters, in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

I think these photos capture almost everyone we were able to see...

J had a blast playing with his cousins and wrestling with his uncles. Baby N was content to be passed around between grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
We had a great time visiting and catching up with everyone and watching
our boys interact with our families.
Our time with family is always well spent.

Yes, Trevor took it--the sun was JUST RIGHT for perfect shots. I wish we would have taken more. We had fun snapping around with our d90 that weekend, I am hesitant to take it *just anywhere* but it was great to have with us on that trip!
