BRIAN REGAN NIGHT

Hilarious comedian: Capital C.H.E.C.K.
Thursday night was our Brian Regan date night. Trevor was gone all week with business, so he only had a few minutes at home before we left & it was a challenge to get a babysitter on a school night...but we had tickets, and we did what it took to GET THERE.
It was our first time in the theater, which was really cool. We had wondered what it looked like inside--it was both bigger (and somehow smaller) than we had imagined--however, perfect venue for a comedy show.
We had amazing seats (we could practically TOUCH the stage), and we were pumped for an awesome show. Brian's brother Dennis was the opening act. He was good...but I was so excited for Brian to come on the stage that I really didn't enjoy his sketches that much (sorry, Dennis!).
And, the man delivered a fabulous show! The audience was ready & knew their Brian Regan. His every move and facial expression was lauded--the man is a comedic genius. I hadn't heard any of the material before (which doesn't necessarily mean it's all brand new), so it was NEW to me, which was awesome. He jokes about real life and a way that helps you step back & enjoy the laughter that real life REALLY deserves! All clean. All awesome. We love this guy!
At the end of the show the audience demanded an encore (naturally!), and he abridged---which included people yelling from their seats the sketches they wanted to see. This, my friends, is hilarious. Brian has to then act like he was going to say it anyway..."So, this morning I was eating a pop tart..." he pauses to laugh, which makes it even MORE funny.
So the guy in the audience requested the POP TART SKETCH. As he's going along, he asks something like "Have you ever looked at a pop tarts box?"
Trevor yelled from the right of the stage "NO!"--The crowd laughed. Brian laughed. Trevor could hardly stay in his seat. It was hilarious. Brian quickly responded, "Ok, well...it was a rhetorical question--let's start over--..." and laughs again, it was hilarious.
Ok much more funny in PERSON than to re-tell it...you just had to be there I guess.

What a fun date!
Oh yay! It's sooo worth the money for the laugh wrinkles you get. The best date we've ever been on! Glad he went all the way up north so you could see him!
Trevor got a shout out from Brian! Like a personal connection. WOW. Trevor is famous!
