"Winter,
a lingering season,
is a time to gather golden moments,
embark upon a sentimental journey, and enjoy every
idle
hour."
- John Boswell
We're staying in today.
It is 11am
-4°
-23° windchill
After being in the -30's early this AM/last night AND yesterday...eeek.
It's Minnesota, yo.
And we've had a pretty mild go of it this winter (lovely!) but now it's down to business.
Yesterday there was only 1 hour of Church, in fact.
And we were there, because there was a new bishopric! We are so grateful for all the time & love of Bishop O & his counselors (and the many who do so much to make everything work together!). Trevor is now serving in the *new* bishopric and we're grateful for the many things we are learning as a family through our/his opportunities to serve.
TODAY
...we're in pajamas, making these lemon crinkle cookies (omitted the extract, just added an extra bit of lemon juice), reading library books, writing thank you notes, and building rockets.
Also. It's Martin Luther King, Jr. day!
For a quick view of a few things we didn't know before today, check this little video from HuffPost.
