Happy Mother's Day!

My heart is full today...

with love for my own mother

 Her homemade birthday cakes, her handcrafted projects, her paintings on the wall, her handmade afgans on the couch, her "sewing mood", her yard sale prowess, her sweetly sung lullabyes, her calligraphied letters, her morning snuggles (& dream sharing), her delicious eats, her love for Dad, her daily sacrifices, her commitment to goals, her adventurous spirit, her reading on the couch, her family night games, her decisions in faith, her patience in challenge, her lemons-to-lemonade determination...no one is perfect, but she pretty much nails the Mom gig.

and the mothers before her

I am Shara. I am the daughter of Linda, the granddaughter of Beverly, the great-granddaughter of Lounettie...and many more inspiring, strong, creative, capable, faith-filled, hard working, devoted women. Their choices in family life and mothering have unlimited lasting affects for the generations. I (we!) have been taught by their examples, by their tender guiding hands, by their heartfelt prayers, by their thoughtful instruction, by their strength on hard days, by the moments of BEing together.

And love for the countless

who have mothered

me

and my family

 I am grateful for & honor the women whose motherly circle of influence has warmly wrapped itself around me in various stages, struggles, & successes in my life♡ 

And then there's this...

I have been blessed with four little people

who call me "Mother"

I have dreamt of motherhood all my life

and 4 was always my favorite number

now my dreams have come true

and my heart is overflowing with gratitude

for my little monkeys.
