Valentine's Festivities 2013

When our Christmas-turned-New Year's-tree
was transformed into a Valentine's Tree
J started asking about the party & Valentine sharing.

Last year we participated in a preschool co-op & he has lovely memories from last years' party.
So I contacted one of my friends who is still doing a co-op and asked if my crew & I could crash the party
join the party.
J's Valentine's 2013: Glow sticks & hand written heart notes

I offered to provide sugar cookies & we were invited to join :)

It was so fun to see the little bunch together & enjoy their Valentine chaos energy!

As always, my favorite part was seeing and visiting with my dear friends. They are amazing and inspire me by their awesome attitudes, cool styles, and examples of faith & service.

I didn't get any photos of N but he was there,
pulling toys out of boxes and making his rounds.
Miss N had fun trying out the black & white keys:
...and all the sugar & sharing wore J out
(isn't this the cutest little chair?)
The night before,
I contributed sugar cookies & my kitchenaid to another type of Valentine party:
For our February RS activity we met together with the YW to decorate sugar cookies & fill strawberries with cream cheese frosting. Then we filled plates & delivered them to Sisters in the ward who weren't able to be with us as often as they'd like.
It was an awesome night of sprinkled fun!

Can you find me in the below pic?

All the while, my sweet Mr. Valentine was home cleaning my house & keeping my kids happy & well-fed. Lucky in love am I!
