Snowman!
While the East Coast got pounded with blustery winds, feet of snow & high drifts...we got a "wintry mix" of wind, sleet, slush, and several inches of wet snow...perfect for snowballs &
snow people!
While N & Miss N napped...Trevor & J were hard at work rolling the snow, forming the layers, and making our first Minnesota snowman come to life. J was in charge of the carrot stick. He took a bite to make sure it was good enough for Frosty.
We didn't have a top hat or a toboggan big enough for his noggin'...
so we used the obvious next best thing: a safety helmet.
This snowman is OSHA approved:
The glow sticks are either his ears,
or his ear protection equipment...
or just random orange sticks coming out of his head.
You choose.
These two had a ball in the snow:
It wasn't too cold (20s? 30s?), so it was perfect for some outside fun.
And here he is-- Frosty the Safety Man.
Keeping our backyard
safe & compliant!

Nice snowman! He looks perfect. And I thought the glow sticks were arms at first. We haven't had good snowman building snow yet. It's been way too dry and fluffy. Which is fun, but hard to do much with. Poor Owen always wants to build one, but it just falls apart in your hands. Also, you look amazingly cute and beautiful in your fuscia coat, darling scarf, and awesome bangs!
That is a good looking snowman! Am I right in thinking his buttons are mayonnaise jar lids?
@Kendra--Thank you! Hope you get some quality wet snow before it's all over...we've waited awhile too! And thanks for the compliments :) I am loving my chunky bangs!
@JNew--You are right on the lids...they are peanut butter jar lids! :)
What an awesome snowman! We have lots of Utah powder which is great for skiing and easy to shovel but not so good for snowman. Gorgeous snowy pictures!
