Spring Trip South III--Baby Blessing Day

Miss N wore my baby blessing dress
(barely fit!) on her special day.

Also, I asked my friend to make a little flower for her to wear on her headband for the special occasion (see that beautiful white flower?). We will fashion this flower however she wants it, to wear on her baptism day and also on her wedding day (in her bouquet? in her hair? under her dress, at the very least?).
It is something small and beautiful for her & her special day...
and future special days!

She was beautiful! She didn't even cry with all of the photos, holding, moving, and the blessing itself. Her Dad gave her a beautiful baby blessing with hopes of happiness, health, love, & faith. Around her stood in a circle both of her grandfathers and three of her uncles. Time stood still.

Of course we took photos at the Church
after the blessing...
We had a nice large group to corral for photos...

Aunt Leigh Ann, Aunt Katie, Uncle Lucas, Cousins Mavaney & Adelaide, Dad, Nathan, Mom & Noelle, Papa, Nana, Grandmama, Granddaddy, Jackson, Uncle Spencer, & Uncle Tyler

My girl.

My baby girl & my family--drove up from TN!

Three generations of girls--and my Mom's first grandgirl!

Our family of five.

The day was also Nana's birthday which made it
extra special.

Do you know what made it extra-extra special?

This blessing day belonged to
another beautiful baby girl...
Miss N's cousin, Adelaide Rose.
Adelaide surrounded by her family
 cousins, Aunts & Uncle

Lucas, Katie, Mavaney, & sweet Adelaide...& families

And can you guess where Miss A got her middle name?
Granny Rose & Adelaide Rose:
Adelaide Rose & her great-grandmother: Rose--this might be
my favorite photo of the entire trip.

After (during?) photos, Uncle Spencer & J were checking out the steeple that was laying on the ground (the wind blew it off the roof a week or so before)

Our afternoon was spent enjoying a luncheon at Nana's house with friends and family. Special thanks to Nana for letting us take over her home, even with her kitchen in mid-remodel status (aka--no kitchen)
Blessing day luncheon--I love the shot of the grandfathers...
