Christmas Eve @ Our House:
J was a bit hesitant about going to bed knowing that Santa would be coming to our house. Not that he wanted to SEE Santa, but that he DID NOT want to see him. Once we explained that he would not be coming into HIS room, he was fine. It still took him awhile to fall asleep...the excitement was too much...I remember that all too well!
Christmas Morning:
Since we had Church at 9am, most of Christmas morning was spent having a normal breakfast & getting out the door on time. Miss N & I stayed behind to clean up after the morning mess and finish wrapping gifts.
J did open ONE gift "From Santa" first thing in the morning...he was thrilled:
After Church, we had more presents...and then lunch & naps...then another present...then skyping with Nana & Papa...then a few more presents...we just let the day be low key and enjoyed the time together.
It was perfect!
I think I like spreading out the gifts throughout the day like that.
We sang Christmas carols,
enjoyed afternoon cuddles,
took photos,
and had a beautiful, delicious Christmas feast
(made by Grandmama!).

What a wonderful Christmas and what a beautiful family. Having a newborn with the two older boys was really hard for me. I kept wanting to rest and stay home and they kept needing to get out. It got easier after the first few months. Have a wonderful New Year!
Ok, see, something's wrong here. You've already posted Christmas pictures and you have a NEWBORN!! ahhh you are quite amazing that way! I'm working on a post and it's almost ready. :)
