J: 42 Months (3 1/2)

Our J is 3 1/2 years old.

J wearing overalls that his Uncle Spencer wore when he was little!

 He's got energy, spunk, & pizazz

He'll dance circles around you, 

talk to you for hours, 

and make sure you know that he is "a big boy".

A few things about J:

-besides Daddy, he is the first one up in the morning

-upon finding something surprising, he says "Oh. MY. GOODNESS!" and follows quickly with "That. IS. AWEsome!"

-he has loved his time in the church nursery, and graduates to the PRIMARY in January (when asked what they do in Primary he said "sing songs and say 'shhhh' like this" --holds index finger over lips)

-loves to sing songs and make up his own tunes and words as well

-can write his name and trace letters very well--wants to pick out the letters on buildings and signs when we are out and about

-likes things in a particular ORDER (hello, Daddy's boy)

-sometimes hits/pushes/throws things at little bro N but MOSTLY is very helpful and loving with him (still calls him "Natham")

-is curious about little sis N, wants to see her umbilical cord at every diaper change, and when she cries tells her "It's ok" in a soft voice 

-is quick to correct us when we call baby girl by her in utero name (Adalea). He says: "Nope, it's Noelle!"

-loves to wear pajamas (calls them "PJs")--all day, every day-- and as soon as we get home from being out somewhere he immediately takes off his clothes to put on "comfy pants"

-wants to be on top no matter what--case in point: Last night little bro N had gas. I said "do you have gas?" N, of course did not reply. J quickly piped up "I do!" I said "That's fine--sometimes we have gas." He made sure we all knew who was bigger & better when he said "But I have MORE."

-as from his birth, he charms people wherever we go and is typically VERY obedient and easy to get along with

We love this little guy!
