Our ward here has a tradition of hosting
spectacular
Labor Day picnics.
We're talking--delicious food,
incredible entertainment (live band made up of the previous Activities Committee!),
a huge pavilion & park,
and fun & amusing GAMES.
Apparently, the most anticipated game of all
(at least as far as the men were concerned)
They had a big white board listing the many teams of 3 competing, winner goes to next round...and so on until a winner was proclaimed.
And there was a trophy.
As the 'new guy' in the ward, Trevor was willing to jump in and try his best. I was impressed he made it through the first round, then the second...then the third...
And when I saw the trophy, I started cheering for the other guy.
haha
But really, I did.
But really...

After the cheers died down,
Trevor publicly dedicated his champion win to his beautiful wife.
I guess we can take the trophy home...

Way to go Trevor! You are going to have to find a good place to display that trophy so that everyone can see it. :) Quite impressive.
