August Days...Local Attractions

We have been checking out the local scene...now that Granddaddy is gone & Trevor is on the road with work during the week.

Our local library is AWESOME, love the toddler days they sponsor and the fun play areas they have in their children's section!

Every week there is a FARMER'S MARKET that is much more than that...it includes free crafts for kids, an awesome playground, several (delicious!) vendors, fresh flowers, grilled corn (our favorite!), outdoor games, and live bands playing. It is AWESOME. We've gone three times already, and can't wait to go this week!

Ice cream, check. Fire hat, check. Awesome.

 I randomly saw some information about the County Fair & suggested we check it out when Trevor got home that weekend. 
We really love a good fair...sweet treats, fried food on a stick, fun rides, and petting zoos! It was a great night of family fun--J even rode some of the rides, we were so impressed!

We're looking forward to the Minnesota State Fair this weekend!
