It's been 5 fast months since this little guy officially joined our family.
Time is a crazy thing, isn't it?
He is growing, grabbing, & gurgling--and we are loving every minute!
No dr. office stats to report, but N is wearing size 3-6 month clothes (more on the 6 month side of things, anything just 3 mo. is too small!). He weighs a bit over 15 lbs, still eats like a champ (exclusively nursing...tried a bottle last week & he was not interested), and is keeping up his routine of a good sleeper (8-10 hrs/night and two good naps/day).
Baby N is a happy baby.
Here are some of his favorites these days:
-anything to put in his mouth
-pulling on Mama's hair
-grabbing Daddy's glasses
-all day cuddles
-cozy blankets
-listening to big brother sing songs (like "Twinkle Twinkle Lilol Star", & "Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam")
-riding in the car (as long as it's not an all-day road trip)
-rolling on the floor
-swaying in the swing
-wooing the ladies at church with his charming smile
And...the newest skill to his "favorites" list...
HANDS & KNEES, folks.
You know what that leads to right??
Yikes.
He has found the soothing joy of finger gnawing, lip sucking,
and recently discovered his feet.
His baby hair has mostly fallen out, except (of course) for the old-man tuft in the back of his head that is light brown. People often ask if we think he'll have red hair like big brother...probably not, but you never know, right?
N has also recently become a full participant in games of PEEK-A-BOO which provides hours of giggly fun for the whole family ... and likes most of all to be swaddled, cuddled, and held. We tribute this need to be held to the recent vacations we enjoyed where he was passed around...and maybe Mom's new addiction to baby-holding has played a part as well...
P.S. For interested parties, you may go here to compare the above 5 month pics of Baby N with 5 month pics of Baby J (2008).

I have really been loving the cool shots you have been taking! You got skills sista!
And your adorable boys certainly look like brothers but I was surprised at how much they DIDN'T look a like at 5 months. They is so interesting to me. Is that because we only know how to make them one way?
