Lofty Light, Furry Ferret, Jumping J

Our new place has lots of windows (compared to the TWO we had in our previous dwelling), which really excites me--there is nothing like using natural light to capture some precious moments! I took advantage of some good light in our loft to do a quick, impromptu photo shoot of our 2 year old J.

J's favorite furry friend is his ferret, who is affectionately called "Wah-wee". Other than his ferret, his next favorite is JUMPING. He jumps everywhere we go, but of course--nothing compares to jumping on a freshly made bed!
The boy.
Getting so handsome!

I love these feet! Chubby, square, toddler feet--they are perfect.
It should be known that we cut his hair a day or so after these photos were taken...so he no longer sports the "scraggly" look...

Those cheeks!
And...the pout.
It's a new thing, came with his 2nd birthday.

Only a couple more weeks of this boy being the #1 center of attention...then we'll be taking tons of photos of his baby brother!
