Just Answering A Few Questions here...
if you didn't have any questions to begin with,
then skip down to enjoy the photos at the end.
Q: So, when are you moving to New Jersey?
A: We'd like to officially dispel any rumors (based on true conversations) about our imminent move to New Jersey, New York, New Brunswick, or New Delhi. At this point, we are going to try to stop having any kind of conversations based on company information, given their track record of falling through every.single.time.
*Only two of the above were ever discussed in the list of very possible options
Q: Wasn't your move to Wisconsin a temporary stay?
A: It's true--we moved here with Trevor's first post-grad job for a "3-6 month training" program. Due to changes within the company, combined with changes in the economy...our stay has been extended, and have no clue as to a definite timeline at this point.
Q: How was the winter you insisted you'd never have to endure?
A: The first thing friends and family would comment on when we told them of our move to Wisconsin was about the weather (aka WINTER). We were quick to assure them that we weren't concerned in the least, since we were slated to be out of there by *at the latest*, November.
Obviously, that didn't happen & we have survived our very first (last?) Wisconsin Winter! There were a few VERY COLD (-20's temps) days/nights and some VERY BLUSTERY snow storms, so we feel very proud of ourselves.
The truth is, for local standards--it was a very MILD winter.
And we count our blessings...
Q: What are your favorite things about Wisconsin?
A: In no particular order, we love: the awesome not-very-hot-at-all summer we enjoyed, the stacks of CHEESE all around, the quaint and family friendly city we live in, the proximity of our apartment to pretty much everything we need (shopping, parks, downtown, Trevor's job, etc), and the many AMAZING friends that we have made here.
Q: Is Trevor enjoying his job?
A: Not so much*. This is why we are eager for our next move, so he can be "out in the field" and really get into a full-time consulting position.
*He has made some good friends, thoroughly enjoys when he does get to go out for a consultation visit, and we are constantly offering thanks for the fact that he HAS a job.
Q: How's the pregnancy going?
A: Great! I am 22 weeks now and feeling good. Baby Peanut moves around *alot* these days which reminds me that I am actually pregnant! I am about the same size that I was with J at this point--a bit of a bump but nothing too spectacular. I don't have anything to complain about, a few bouts of heartburn & that's it.
For me, the 2nd time around is so different from the 1st full-term pregnancy. With J, I was reading all of the books and thinking about baby stuff ALL THE TIME. This time, I haven't brought out any of my books and I only occasionally pause to think about baby things.
I guess that's how it works...not that the 2nd is less exciting and amazing...just that J keeps me on my toes, I don't have much time for daydreaming!
Here's a 21 week photo for ya:
Super low key. We didn't do any Easter egg hunts, egg dying, bunny catching or any of that--barely even took any pictures this weekend--but we DID enjoy all of the amazing sessions of General Conference in our home! It is such a blessing to hear guidance and inspiration from our Church leaders on a regular basis.
J's Nana sent a special Easter package with a few bunny goodies & a brand new Sunday outfit for him (thanks again, Nana & Papa!), check it out:
He will be 2 in JUNE. Can you believe that?? I can't. The other day someone asked if he was 6 months old...um....what? HA. I guess his height can through people off, but he is quite the toddler!
He loves to go on walks "wak, wak!" , ride in the car with his sunglasses, read books, swing, and wrestle with Daddy. He still gets stopped most places we go because of his bright red hair--and he loves the attention. He is laid back in most all social situations, but not shy. He is adding new words to his vocabulary EVERY DAY, which is just fascinating to watch and enjoy.
I believe that's all for now...I am starting up another round of Wilton cake decorating classes this month, so I'm excited to add new techniques to my basket of experience.
Let me know if YOU have any questions that I didn't answer!

I didn't have any questions, but I don't know that I had any clue that much of this was happening. Hints here and there, perhaps, but not much. I guess that's how it goes when your only contact is a blog - you don't realize what you haven't said. I hope you can get out in the field soon!
What a busy life! It's nice to see all of these updates in one post though. Baby J is so cute!
So not living close to you or being in constant contact with you, I didn't realize that there was talk of a move to NY. But I guess you have mentioned that Trevor has been there on trips recently. So, if that is what is in the works for you - how exciting! IF not, I am sure you will continue to find new and exciting things in Cheeseville.
You look great! and,I love J's new Sunday suit.
Are you still thinking/looking into a different car? Do you want to buy ours?
What are your thoughts (and options) for your birth? Do you know where you will be when you deliver (perhaps not after reading all of this).
Your little red head is so cute!
Good idea with the question and answer post. Wait- I thought you were going to be moving to New Guinea! Well, hey, who knows? You are doing a great job amongst all these impending changes. Well, I better go clear away some of those stacks of cheese that somehow keep showing up.
I love the Q and A. I'm glad things are going well.
Great Post of Information! I am glad you are doing another Wilton class up there in Cheesecountry! Your teacher is so nice!
Love this post. I'm probably due for one of these. Glad you had a mild winter. When are you headed back down this way? J is so cute in his easter outfit. cant wait to see all the new creations you make with your new classes!
This is exactly what I needed Shara! (Which tells me we're due for a get-together!! :)
And what? Has that person ever seen a 6 month old baby before?! That is hilarious. :)
