Pre-Blizzard Snow Walk

Yesterday it snowed all day.

Our first real snowy day of the winter.

I left the blinds open and we enjoyed watching the skinny & plump flakes fall recklessly from the heavens...it was lovely!

J was curious, so we went outside.

We bundled up and took a walk down to our mailbox (which is more like a mail house full of all of all the little mail boxes, about 1/4 mile from our apt)
J was thrilled to walk in the snow for the VERY FIRST TIME! He loved it and did great on the walk. I only had to carry him once when the wind was blowing in his face.
We "played" with the snow for a little while & then went inside to warm up and hunker down for the rest of the day...
By the time Daddy got home there was more snow to walk in and lots more on the way...
