I love when families share a theme with their halloween costumes.
I have imagined fun, creative costumes for my 'future family' for years...
And this was the year to begin our family theme tradition.
SO, nerdy as we are...we were a biohazard EVENT.
J is the main event (of course!), as a "BABY BIO HAZARD"
(note the sign attached to his bum)
I dressed up as Mrs. Osha Inspector.
Very official looking.
Riiight?
We opted out on the trunk-or-treat on Friday & the trick-or-treating on Saturday for a few reasons--J doesn't care, we don't need the extra candy in our house, and we had a busy Saturday & were ready to wind down by the time we got home. I'm sure next year will be an entirely different game. Until then, Happy Halloween!

We didn't take Seara trick-or-treating until she was 3, and you know what? It wasn't even a big deal. She didn't even get it last year. This year she is 4 and Elijah is 3, and they both had it figured, so it was actually really fun. Before then, I don't see the point!
I LOVE the theme. How clever. Yeah, you won't be able to get out of trick or treating for long. We have more candy in our house than anyone of us can eat in a month!
adorable!
Unfortunately, I know who thought you were the SuperNanny, and am slightly embarrassed.
Cute costumes! When I first saw your picture I thought the supernanny too! LOL!
