Alphabet Update

A is for homemade applesauce...
Because I am learning how to
Can...
Doing things I've never done before is
Exactly what this year is all about!
Finding letters in unexpected places
Grants me points in the photography class
How do you like this one?
I found this super cute dress on sale, & trying it on
J...was just too tempting--we now
Know what a cute girl we might have in our future

Look who's hiding behind that stack of freshly sealed
Mylar bags...!
Noodles, dried apples, powdered milk & such

Over 300 lbs of food storage from our latest storehouse
Purchase--now sealed or in buckets--
Quietly ready for any future need
Really I am loving the opportunities to experiment with my cake decorating
Skills--this one is a style I have never tried before...the cake is made of CUPCAKES
The school bus showcases one of our favorite families, it was fun to create!
Unexpected sunshine reveals shadows to chase ...
Venues reached by jogging stroller, hiking along unknown paths--
With this little guy in tow

eXamining optical illusions along our afternoon journey
Yellow & pink vests--what a team!
Zigzagging from week to week...we are learning, growing, playing, and enjoying the sunshine surprises as they come!

Lindsay and I used to dress up our brother and make him wear jelly shoes. we even have pictures. :) Love this post, glad you're getting some sunshine. I don't even need to tell you that we're still not wearing jackets 90% of the time b/c you remember what it's like right? :) It really cracks me up how we switched places this year!

That was so cute! I love that cake! How do you ice it so they stay together in the desired shape? Do you ice them individually first and then fill in the holes??? I love it! You are so talented.

Mom: Thanks for the enthusiasm & support! I know, I should have been doing all of these things when I was younger, at home! We would have had so much fun cake decorating & canning together!! Haha> Shall we do some in January??

Crew: You have 2 birthdays next month!! BUSY MONTH! I'd love to make some cakes to send your way...not sure how that works, though...

Jolie: Thanks! I'm always trying to think of something different to do w/my posts, this just kind of happened!

Amy: I know, I am still laughing about us switching places. Hilarious. YES! We've had some seriously amazing weather lately, I've been trying to go outside every day to take advantage of it!

Joy: Thank you so much! I have loved all of the cool cakes YOU have done!! So... no, I put them all in the shape & then ice them all together as if they are one cake. Use lots of thinner consistency frosting for easy, smooth frosting. I'll email you too.

This random blog post just makes me laugh. Baby J in a dress, food storage, and a dang fabulous CAKE. Seriously, where do you find the time for all this?
