Our internal thermometers don't even know what to do with those kinds of numbers...seriously.

We were recently told about this beautiful park & we wanted to check out the Eau Claire Dells before all of the fall foliage was gone. Since it will be two more weeks until we're all together again on a Saturday (J & I are headed to Boston!) we figured we had better go find the place & check it out.
So we did.
We bundled J up in his jogging stroller & enjoyed a short trail down to the cliffs & falls area.
Beautiful, isn't it? I'm sure it is even better in the summer (we are kicking ourselves for not finding out about it sooner!), or just when the sun is out...Ha.
It was fast & cold--but a great family fun trip. We hope they'll be some sunnier days before winter sets in so we can check it out again!

eh eh eh, did you just use the
"S" Word??????????????????????
( shara came home from Kgarten and said "MOM, someone on the playground used THE 'S'WORD!" She was quite upset. I felt I had to ask what word that was, if she felt she could repeat it to me. Oh so quietly, she told me...."stupid". We didn't use that word in our house ( at that time) . We also didn't say 'SHUTUP' or 'DUMB'. hmmm. at that time.
