Randoms: Day in the Life

J loves bathtime. Sometimes he takes baths in the morning (after a particularly messy breakfast/brunch). Sometimes he takes baths in the evening (then it's Daddys' turn to give him the bath!).

This was one evening last week--Daddy gives extra special baths: Bubble Baths! Daddy had fun plopping mounds of bubbles on J's head (and elsewhere). J was busy organizing his toys in his *NEW* bathtub toy organizer:

Playing in the leaves is a new favorite--since FALL is here! J doesn't like to get his hands too dirty, but he likes a good frolic in the leaves:
One of J's favorite things to do is mimic us.
The other day on our way home from our Saturday outing, I let J try on my sunglasses--he LOVED it. He kept putting them on & taking them off again.

One Cool Dude:
The *BEST* time of day is whenever Daddy is home!

Daddy chases J around the house, reads books to him, sings songs, dances with him, and creates all kinds of fun opportunities to enjoy the evening together as a family.

We have kept our windows & sliding door open almost the entire summer (besides those...maybe 3 weeks of hot weather?). It has been wonderful to feel the gentle breezes flow through our little apartment...until...

J figured out he could open the screen door (the lock is broken) & walk right out!

So now when he is awake, we have a gate covering the screen door, keeping little people inside and the breezes still coming inside.
