Trevor was in HEAVEN at the airshow. Ever since the day he realized that we were moving to the state where the EAA Oshkosh Air Show was held, it has been on our list of MUST DOs. It was about a two hour drive to Oshkosh, we left early & stayed all day. The weather was PERFECT--sunny with a marvelous Wisconsin breeze. Trevor enjoyed checking out all of the model planes, the real planes, the handmade planes, the small planes, the big planes, the vintage planes, the military planes...well...you get the picture.
The show was spectacular, we got great seats (yay for a jogging stroller than can hold 2 lawn chairs in its underneath basket), the display of planes was incredible & I even got to speak Portuguese*! We went home tired and happy. It was an amazing daytrip. If we're here next year, we'll definitely go again.

*There was a group from Brazil that were there. I heard them speaking Portuguese and couldn't help myself. I just had to go up to them and ask them where they were from. We had a lovely chat, and even took pictures together! It was definitely one of the highlights of the day for me.

I am so impressed with your blog! Also, I wish I had known about the air show in Oshkosh. My husband would have LOVED to see it (he was in the air force). The pictures you have are wonderful! Thanks, Stephanie Heaton
Did you know that there was a plane that was at the Oshkosh air show that crashed on the way back to Utah? For reals... wonder if it was THAT plane that Trevor is excited about in that picture!?!?
Can I come with you? Pretty please? OshKosh is to planes as Sturgis is to Harleys.
